IQQU Red Kabuki Brush

I bought my very first IQQU brush a month ago and I wanna give a quick and honest review of the red kabuki brush.

When the package arrived I rush to my room and opened the box quickly. I ripped the plastic cover of the acne serum and kabuki brush I ordered, the kabuki brush is so soft and I love the color (and the fact that I bought it because of its color). I stroke and stroke it afterwards, 2 bristles fell off.

I was heart broken and every time I wash it a lot more bristles fell off like 3-5 for 3 days this always happened and I almost stop using it because I can't stand to see it sheds. After 2 weeks the fall outs decreased from 3-5 to none and sometimes 1. Although it takes 2 weeks or more for my kabuki brush to stop having fall outs I can't hardly notice the fall outs at all.

After washing it for the first time the brush became dull and frizzy unlike when I first received it, even if I use olive oil and handwash (anti-bacterial) then hang it upside down with a brush guard the brush continues to become more and more frizzy, so I tried to find a method to keep it in shape. I tried using tissue paper to cover it instead of a brush guard and hang it upside down, and at last I restore its shape and appearance. Now I still use this method every time I wash this brush.

I use this brush most of the time to apply loose foundation or blush and even bronzer, because its so dense and the bristles give a soft and gentle approach on my skin, any loose product can be easily applied and will achieve a matte finish when you use it. I mentioned earlier that I like how they appear but the leather container didn't reached my expectations, it was rather cheap looking and the rectangular base inside it was not properly attached and its made of hard paper. And every time I store my kabuki brush in it I noticed that my brush absorbs the awful smell of the leather so I bough another bag for my kabuki brush.

As you can see here:
The top of the base is made of leather while bottom of the base is made from hard paper

Over all  I am satisfied of its softness and appearance but I am not pleased of the fall outs i encountered by using and washing it. Yes, I understand that it's handmade and it's normal to have a minimal fall out but 2 weeks is so much.  I can't hardly notice the fall outs though.

About the leather bag, its nice looking but kinda cheap I love the IQQU label in it but I was devastated when the base got detached after I put my kabuki brush inside it. And it would also be nice if instead of covering the brush with a simple plastic why not change it with a durable and elegant cover just a suggestion. But if you'll ask me if I am grateful to have this brush in my brush set, I would definitely answer YES with confidence, this brush is one of my fav kabuki brush and It's very useful and elegant. As of now I don't have any complaints about this brush I've been using it for a month and it amaze me every time I use it on my face or simply using it as a tool in my Stylist and MUA (Make Up Artist) career.

If you are looking for a soft, red and dense kabuki brush I personally recommend this one.I hope you like my review and try reading my other review and tips below. Don't forget to subscribe. Enjoy.

Review: Avon Extra Lasting Liquid Eyeliner and Moisture Rich Mousse Lipstick (Nude Glow)

I am not a fan of Avon cosmetics and I just wanna try their product especially their Extra Lasting Liquid Eyeliner and Moisture Rich Mousse Lipstick (Nude Glow) because I really need a great Liquid Eyeliner and Nude Lipstick so I decided to order one. So here it is.

Avon Extra Lasting Liquid Eyeliner

This is how it looks like

The Pros:
1. Its handy and cute.
2. I like the color and the glittery content of it.
3. The package is sleek.
4. It doesn't smudge off easily even after 8 hours.

The Cons:
1. I prefer using a pen liner over it because I cant create a perfect eyeliner look with this.
2. It might last 8 hours or more but it doesn't say waterproof, so its not perfect for those pictorials dealing with water and its not ideal for oily skin (like me).
3. It doesn't dry fast.
4. It's so messy to use.
5. The color fades (it's mild though so no biggie).

-this product doesn't work for me at all, I like it but I am not going to purchase it  again I was planning to buy their Extra Lasting Mascara but I cancelled it because I prefer using Shawiil Mascara its cheap, lengthens my lashes and long lasting. If I'll rate this product I'll give it 5 over 10. Hope this helps.

I was looking badly for a nude lipstick

..but instead I find myself buying the pinkish nude lipstick from Avon, I just wanna try it and see if this works great on my lips. First I was disappointed of the packaging its kinda cheap and I don't like it at all. It's not like my Revlon lipstick's packaging. But when I saw the lipstick I was so amaze of its appearance, It smells good and its not heavy to wear at all, and even though its not the type of nude lipstick I want to have I am still glad I bought it. I really like the creamy texture of it, and I don't have to wear a lip gloss over it because it can stand alone.

If you are looking for a great and nude looking lipstick this one is for you, but if you want a lipstick that can last long you have to rethink on buying this one, when I used this it only lasted for 2 hours. If you want a glossy and creamy lipstick that can provide both lipstick and lip gloss this is for you. If you want a perfect summer look lipstick this works great for you. All in all I like it and I am considering on buying another lipstick from Avon because I really like it doesn't last long though. And I wanna try their mineral blush. If I'll rate this product I'll give it 8 over 10. I hope you like this review and keep reading my other post. Enjoy.

Achieving Korean Flawless Skin

BB creams, WHAT ARE THEY??

Have you encountered the so called miracle cream? Or have you ever heard of bb cream and wondered what it is?
According to Wikipedia BB cream is also known as Blemish Balm, Blemish Base or Beblesh Balm, is a cosmetic item sold mainly in East and Southeast Asia. Originally formulated in Germany by Dr. med. Christine Schrammek, it was initially used by dermatologists to help laser surgery patients protect, soothe and refine highly sensitive skin while providing light coverage for post-laser scars, acne and other blemishes.”
Although bb cream was formally made in Germany its popularity spread throughout Korea and afterwards Asia. Korean actresses being blessed with a flawless and fair skin also needs help in maintaining and improving it using their no.1 weapon the so called bb cream. Because a lot of women are hoping to achieve the same flawless looking skin Korean actresses have European and Western Cosmetics Company are now introducing and adapting this to their line of cosmetics.
I myself wanted to experience and see what this cosmetic can do to my skin out of curiosity. So I bought Maybeline BB cream just to try it.
It’s so light and not heavy to use doesn’t provide medium or full coverage though, and if you have moderate acne like me you need medium to full coverage foundation and concealer  to achieve flawless skin, but It gave me a lighter complexion and prevents it from redness caused by massive exposure to sunlight and doesn’t give me any breakouts at all. I personally like bb cream after using Maybeline BB Cream but I wanna try Korean BB Cream to see the difference and to see what type of BB Cream really works for me. For you out there wanted to try bb cream I suggest you try Maybeline New York BB cream before you buy those expensive Korean BB Creams.
I hope this helps.Enjoy.

7 simple ways to achieve clear and smooth skin

Do you want to achieve a clear and smooth skin without spending a lot of money on some expensive cosmetics in the market. Just follow this 7 simple tips.

1. Drinking the right amount of water everyday to help avoid acne, it also helps us to cleanse our kidney, lungs, bowels and skin. When our bowels and kidney cannot contain all the toxic our body expels product waste through our lungs and skin. Drinking enough water will dissolve waste products in our system so it can be easily remove and flush out .Drinking water also prevent our skin from dehydration.
How do you know how much water you need to intake?
- try to run this simple test:
Start from drinking 7 or 8 glasses of water everyday and see if your urine is clean and not yellowish if it's still kind of yellow try to drink another glass of water each day until your urine is crystal clear.

2. Change your pillow cases and mattresses every other day,  you might be allergic to dust mites and this can cause you serious breakouts. Keep your bed as clean as possible, trust me this really helps.

3. Wash your face with facial foam or facial wash that suits your skin type. Washing your face using soap will damage your skin because of the harmful chemicals it has that leads your skin either dry or prone to breakouts. Soap may kill germs but it can damage your skin that leads into redness, irritation, after-wash tightness,  damage the barrier function of the skin and itching.

4. Find a moisturizer that suits your skin type. After washing your face with a facial foam or  facial wash use a moisturizer so that your skin can absorb it better and this moisturizer will help your skin becomes smooth and you wont experience dryness thought out the day.

5. Undergo a facial scrub every after 2 or 3 days depending on your skin type and the scrub suitable for you. This is a good way of exfoliating your skin and removing dead skin cells. After scrubbing your skin apply your moisturizer or your serum (if you have any) because your pores are now open and it will absorb anything you apply on it and will give you a better result, .

6. Eat right. Eating fruits and vegetables won't harm you, so eat as much as you can and trust me you wont gain a lot of weight than eating fatty and rich with preservative foods. This will also helps you achieve a healthy skin and body.

..and last but not the least is

7.  Take enough sleep. Not having 8 or more sleep is not good for your health and as well as for your skin it can lead into breakouts and can also damage your body. Sleep as early as 8 pm because sleeping 8 or more hours doesn't mean sleeping late.

I hope you like this simple and inexpensive routine. Try it and see how this works. Enjoy.
